8/10/02 - The fruits of a late night work session. A good friend of mine who is very skilled at woodworking came over last night to work on this seating platform and the proscenium. We started at 9:30 p.m. and by 4:45 a.m. we were completely done with both. Built the seating platform out of 2x10's. Built about an 1 1/2" overhang for rope lights. Used insulation batting in joist cavities for sound dampening. I ran romex under floor to existing plug location to add outlet to platform to plug in rope lights and cordless phone.
