8/21/02 - Carpet is installed today. Yea!! The carpet is one of the highlights of the Rendezvous. It's 100% wool commercial theater carpet - called "patterned goods" made by Brintons U.S. Axminster. The installers did a great job with the install and got all the patterns lined up - the seam, the seating platform wrap, the seating platform top, the proscenium wrap, the proscenium top, and the equipment closet entry step. Don't know how they did it. It was nice to sit back and have someone else accomplish a lot in the HT with no involvement by me.
